General Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Leadership and Character Development, the Camp Director is responsible for the daily operation of summer camp.
Qualifications:

Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field with at least two years experience working in a leadership position in a structured youth program.

Acceptable – Associate’s Degree with at least four years experience working in a leadership position in a structured youth program.
Example of Required Responsibilities:
- Supervision of summer camp staff.
- Provide support to summer camp staff in implementing camp activities.
- Work with campers, families and camp staff to ensure a healthy, happy, well- adjusted camp experience.
- Coordinate, plan and implement all camp activities such as field trips, specialty programming, etc. based on weekly themes.
- Address camper/staff disciplinary concerns.
- Ensure the health and safety of all campers.
- Actively engage campers, families, and collaborative partners.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Document and report all incidents to Director of Leadership and Character Development.
- Monitor and report meal program.
