We are living and working through difficult times right now. Things are changing quickly. Day to day. Hour to hour. One thing that has not changed is the commitment of The Community Place of Greater Rochester to serve the people of our community. As an essential organization, our emergency programs are still operating at 145 Parsells Avenue from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Our emergency food pantry is open every weekday, take-home meals are being prepared for our seniors, and lessons and activities are continuing online for our youth.
To continue with our mission in these trying times, we still need the support of our friends to keep our community together, happy, healthy, and safe.
What can you do to help? Your donations support our vital services, which are more important now than ever before.
Cash donations help us to remain flexible and respond to the trials of each day in a more efficient way.
You can also support The Community Place with an in-kind donation. We are seeking donations of personal care items and cleaning supplies, which are nearly impossible for our consumers to obtain. These items can be dropped off at Family Services, 145 Parsells Ave, but we ask you call ahead at 585-288-0021 to arrange a quick, safe drop off.

The Community Place relies on donations like yours to make sure we are able to provide the best programs and services possible. Comprehensive after-school activities to keep youth safe and prepare them for college and work, Universal Pre-Kindergarten programming to give young children the head start they need, support services for elders that help them live at home longer, adequate and affordable housing that gives a family the ability to stop the cycle of transience and become a part of the community- all these services and many, many more will benefit from your contribution!

Our online payment plans allow you to quickly and easily set up monthly recurring payments that automatically deduct a set amount each month. This option allows you to continue your support for The Community Place all year long. If you would like to donate a different amount each month please let us know.
