The Community Place of Greater Rochester, Inc. (CPGR) ensures the delivery of cost-effective, high-quality developmental and social programs and services to residents in the northeast sector of Rochester, New York and throughout the greater Rochester area.
The Community Place provides neighborhood-based services and, utilizes a collaborative approach that allows partnerships with other best-in-class public and private agencies to offer the best services possible. The agency formed in 2001 from the merger of Lewis Street Center, Genesee Settlement House, and Eastside Community Center, has settlement house roots that stretch back 100 years. We still hold strong to the goal of providing everyone, regardless of social or economic background, with the best society has to offer. |
